Battlefield 2142: New UF Game?

So there has been in the air that UF wants to expend to other games too for a long time, but still we havent choosed one. So yesterday i was looking new PC games and i found one little bit older game , what isnt very expensive too( in Estonia it costs about 20 dollars), so thoughed that maybe we can expand to that game.

wow, and system requirements are also low
and $20, damn it probably costs twice as much in Latvia, unless its Russian version those are a bit cheaper.

I think I wont be getting this game, but my answer can change.
the game itself is looking good. I definatly like futuristic and sci-fi themed games.

Well it seemes like a good game, that supports the team effort, might be a good idea of getting it, but we would definantly need to know what the clan thinks of this as a whole and then make up our mind, weather it is positve or negative at the end then.

It feels like a "not another game" for me, I've got plenty of others outside of halo that i'm still busy with lol
I personally am happy catching up with players on h2v and on teamspeak at the moment. But if everyone else gets 2142, then I might be tempted to get my hands on a copy.

Well Vish, we play what we play, I played a few games with Faltz on the xbox, and I played CoD4 with Xorax ages ago, and I played with Oosmus on the ps3 a couple of times ^^
I think h2v is what brought us together and if we play outside of it together then I don't see what all the fuss is about, it seems a few of you have got 2142 already so if you guys get together and play on there too then I reckon it's brilliant.
We're all friends here right? And friends hang out together whenever they can

hmmm the graphics look pretty decent for an older game
Ive heard a lot about it and its mostly good things.
my old clan UBA (which just folded for some reason which i dont know as it happened when i was on vacation (i came back and there was no clan left lol)) actually had a division just for people who played this game and they had their own forum and everything

i dont have the game right now, but if i can find it for really cheap i might look into it

People who have it should go ahead and start playing tho to get the ball rolling on expansion and maybe ull be able to get some new people into the clan thru that game

I cant understand how the hell i can update my patch in Battlefield2142, with EA downloader, cause there aint such thing as Ea downlader, there is EA downloader manager, what wont allow me to redeem my game so i could update it to play online. Does anybody have idea how to fix that, cause i would just like to destroy the disk, burn it, shit it all over etc.

do what i did and google "Battlefield 2142 patch " sites like cheatplanet(dot)com or others work well

Ok Mich i may try this, but where i should save the file, cause i guess if i save it in desktop then it wont work .

Just download it to the desktop and click on the file, it should be a .exe so you simply DL then unzip (if it needs it) then just double click to run it like any other program and it should update itself

P.S. (If it doesn't work then you might have to update step by step for example if BF2142 is on patch V1.95 you might have to install V1.5; V2; V3; V4 ;V5 etc.. but that's not for sure it depends on the game)
